Built in 1977 as a studio for Artist James Havard by BVI architect Alan Smith. It is now owned by Kareem and Val Rhymer, owners of Myett's where they lived for years before restoring it back into a beach villa rental. The hurricanes of 2017 practically destroyed it. It has now been refurbished into a quaint and unique local art gallery and drinking establishment. The business is owned and operated by Kareem & Val & Vishaal Mohabir (everyones favorite bartender). We are open for business and look forward to welcoming all of our friends, family, and guests. In the future there are plans to have a lovely guest suite on the upper floor and a great little restaurant. See you there....

WHERE: Hidden amongst an array of colourful foliage lies Myett’s Hotel on the west of the oh-so-alluring island of Tortola. The pretty pink and white building is a short walk away from Cane Garden Bay, which is definitely the highlight of any Myett’s stay.

WHAT: It’s all about relaxation at Myett’s and with a maid on hand and a restaurant next door we don’t think we’ll have too much trouble doing that. The hotel offers spacious rooms and charming suites with tropical decor and extremely helpful staff- no task is too much. With that Caribbean ambience inside-and-out it’s hard to forget that you’re in paradise.

WHY: Great food, beautiful views and super friendly staff we’re more inclined to ask why not? Cane Garden Bay is a stone’s throw away and offers surfing and snorkelling galore for those moments when relaxing on the shore just gets too much. Although there’s no need, if you must leave the confines of Myett’s there’s a whole host of restaurants and bars nearby offering top BVI cuisine. The sunsets aren’t bad either.

THE BEACH: Soft sand and tropical waters with a picturesque view of pristine white yachts in the distance… what more could we want? This curved bay remains unspoilt and utterly peaceful. To feel like the beach belongs solely to you and yours it’s best to go when the crowds aren’t running to these sands, unless you want to party with the incoming tourists.

INTERESTING FACT: The bay is aptly named as it still grows copious amounts of sugar cane. Well what else were they going to call it?
